HELENA EMMANUEL

Currently, Helena works as a set PA on Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, and was most recently First Team PA for season 1 of NBC's Manifest, the New York Unit of Apple's The Morning Show, and the pilot of Fox's new show Prodigal Son. Prior to these positions, she worked as production secretary on season 1 of Syfy's Happy! as well as set production assistant on shows including Homeland, Law and Order: SVU, Succession, Seven Seconds, and Rise. While at school, she was a production assistant intern for Inside Amy Schumer's 4th season and a control room and production intern at Late Night with Seth Meyers. She has also held positions at Nick Jr., VH1, and other media and production companies throughout New York.

In 2017, Helena worked as line producer on Reprieve, the first short film for The Interval set to come out in the summer of 2019. During her time at NYU, she was involved with three original pilots, co-producing two and executive producing the third. The most recent, Shady Pines, was an official 2017 selection to the HollyShorts Film Festival.  She also was involved in several thesis films, serving as creative producer, line producer, UPM, and Second AD.  Check Please, which she line produced, was an official 2016 selection of Flickerfest International Film Festival, Australia’s leading Academy® accredited short film festival; the BAFTA-recognized Aesthetica Short Film Festival; and the SOHO International Film Festival. Additionally, it won the Craft Award for screenwriting at the First Run Film Festival, and has over 2 million views on Omeleto.

A recent graduate of NYU's class of 2016, Helena received a BFA in Film and Television Production from Tisch School of the Arts and a minor in Business of Entertainment and Media Technologies from the Stern School of Business.

She lives in NYC and is working to be a producer of narrative and/or late night television. When not producing, she is trying new foods, seeing theatre, or listening to Off Menu.
